This sweet small house is owned by a couple of scientists that need a simple but functional dwelling where they can also run their agricultural projects. Designed by Cooper Joseph Studio and located in Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma, California, the small house is surrounded by awesome natural hillside views, lush forest and fresh breezes. The owners wanted to have a small house but comfortable, low energy consumption, as well as designed to eliminate erosion.

Next, the small house is built in three levels that are opened each other that give nice view and more conversations. All parts of the small house are well designed and got high quality materials. The awesome natural views can be enjoyed from many spots including from the bathroom that overlooks the valley.

The small house also has been completed by solar energy produced by 930sqf solar field near the hillside. Water conservation is also well done to support the house owners that love planting and stock water for drought months. To prevent the erosion, lavender plants are planted surround the small house that also becomes another beautiful view.







Modern House - Small Design of Mishima House

This small house design is ideal for a small family dwelling. Designed by Keiji Ashizawa Design, it is the right place for the family to get comfort and privacy of living in a central Tokyo’s downtown.

Consist of some levels, the small house houses bedrooms, bathrooms, and other private spaces on the first and second floor. On the third floor, living room and kitchen are placed with a loft above where a study situated. High ceilings are designed for the third floor of the small house; allowing more natural light come inside through the windows on the side.

Luxury House - Diamond Project House in San Francisco

Terry Terry & Diamond Project Architect designed home in San Francisco, California. Scales weight of a house lot, with views to the west. concrete wall running parallel along the side lot line, forming a wall beside the house and continued outside contains a protected park.

Strategic gap or gaps formed between the roof and the walls to illuminate the walls with natural light. large glass openings in the front and back of the house to create transparency between indoor and outdoor space.

A roof deck is inserted at the top of the home and functions as a continuation of the garden’s living space. Roof deck also provides a unique connection with the surrounding hills speckled with pastel from the environment of San Francisco.

A separate studio is located in the rear garden of property. Small satellite structure serves as a central office, and as an additional family room. There is a simple common language of materials and clean detailing that unites the entire room. This aesthetic is important to create warmth and serenity for families in urban areas without disturbing the simple beauty of a good space juxtaposed.







Wooden House - Uniquely Designed Urban Housing

This unique housing is located in Nieuw Leyden urban plan block that consists of 18 houses. The 24H Architects were handled the design of the two of the house to be ecological houses.

The housing was built on a high density area with minimal street width. The architects design the houses to get much natural lighting with the application of ‘canyon’ that enables the daylights come in till the lower floors of the housing. Besides, the canyon is also functioned as partition that divides the house into some rooms. The transparent canyon lets the daylights filtered and bright the house.

The housing was also designed with unique façade. Made from certified wood, the façade got unique design that also becomes nice performance for the housing. It becomes the echo for the canyon and layered by corten steel.

The Ravine Residence was an architecture project of Hariri Pontarini Architects in Toronto, Canada. The great architecture design gets a concept of a residence on a public street but has the privacy and familiarity inside as a living space. The home design is made by employing two volumes; opened to the front and more private inside.

The house has awesome view like a ravine in the backyard for the swimming pool and lush vegetations. The architects take such advantage by designing the house with more glass panels so that the beautiful views can be enjoyed from the inside of the home as well as getting much more natural light. As the client’s request to make the house architecture more everlasting; the architects applied high quality materials to design such good-looking architecture. The materials are such as the French limestone, teak windows, and roughcast stucco that can be more durable and give everlasting beauty to the architecture.






Luxury House - Architecture Design of Kew House in Melbourne, Australia

Located in Melbourne, Australia and surrounded by green environment, this Kew House 3 is a nice house with wood façades and modern interior design. The wood house exterior is designed by Vibe Design Group on the 60s and 70s cabinet style. Silvertop ash timber is the material applied to clad the wood house exterior. Most of the exterior is clad with the wood except the third storey. The wood house exterior is like a cabinet floating out across the terrain. It is because of the steel legs that lightly support the cabinet. The silvertop ash timber is chosen because of the perfect color that can blend to the green environment.

Come into the interior of the wood house, there is a feature of flat veneer wall that house integrated kitchen, powder room, cellar, and also cloak. The wood wall hides the doors of the room so when they are opened, the contents are surprising. The study room, library, and day bed are placed in the cantilevered box of the wood house.

Small House - Beautiful Small Sun House

Located in a roadside Singapore, the Sun House is quite compact built in a corner plot of a set up bungalow area. Designed by Guz Architects, the small house is so comfortable and green with many vegetations planted surrounded in the garden. The small house is maximally designed by the architects by shoving the site of main building in L shape to the back and created courtyard there. Then the courtyard makes the area more airy, opened, and giving nice views for the small house.

To create the awesome views, the architects build pool and ponds that are also functioned to cool down the small house. The architects also maximized the space and volumes by splitting the staircase and living space for the courtyard. When the small house was almost finished designed, the owner also designed a corner made of solid wall where he can display his collections of artworks and sculptures. Besides, he also gave anchor to the small house where he can expand some space.
