Joaquin Torres has directed A-Cero Studio Architects to handle the interior design refurbishment project of this traditional mountain house. Located in the town Bohoyo, Avila, Spain, the mountain house is sited on the sloping area of northern of mountain foot and in the Sierra de Gredos regional park. The traditional house is surrounded by cultural and historical heritage with the quiet atmosphere and beautiful views.The traditional house was redesigned to be fresher and brighter by the replacing wood balcony with transparent glass. It means that the interior design refurbishment makes the main entrance gets more natural lights. Besides, the wood colors are also made to be more various so that looks more modern than before. To complete the interior design refurbishment project, A-Cero team also specially designs the furnishings in more modern and good looking look. The furnishing is also included the contemporary swivel TV stand that enables the homeowners watch the same TV in the lounge as well as in the outdoor deck.
The newly interior design refurbishment is made to be warm, homey, and intimate. A library is added into the lounge featured by high quality materials and indirect light. To reduce dark shades, A-Cero team removed the wood railing of staircase with glass. Large windows also feature the interior design refurbishment to expand beautiful views and natural light.
